Switch Box Assembly
The switch box contains the safety interlock button and the primary contactor for the 12-Amp motor. Over time, the high current draw causes electrical arcing that welds or erodes the internal contacts, while the plastic mechanical pivots for the bail lever are subject to fatigue stress and eventual fracture. Replacing the integrated assembly restores both the electrical circuit and the mechanical safety return functionality.
