Lid Lock Assembly
The spin cycle is electronically interlocked with the lid latch mechanism for user safety. If the solenoid fails to engage the locking bolt or the internal switch fails to send a 'locked' feedback signal to the control board, the high-speed centrifugal extraction sequence is inhibited.

Drain Pump Assembly
The control board utilizes a pressure sensor to verify water evacuation before authorizing the spin phase. If the pump is mechanically jammed by debris or suffers a motor winding failure, water remains in the tub, and the machine will bypass the spin cycle to prevent mechanical damage from an unbalanced water mass.

Drive Belt
This component facilitates the mechanical energy transfer from the drive motor to the transmission pulley. Over time, the EPDM material can stretch or glaze, leading to insufficient friction to rotate the heavy, wet tub during the high-torque transition to the spin cycle.
