Drain Tube Assembly
The 'ice sheet' symptom is the physical result of a hydraulic backup in the defrost condensate system. When the defrost heater activates, meltwater is unable to exit the cabinet due to a clog or frozen 'duckbill' valve in the drain tube, causing it to overflow the evaporator pan and collect on the freezer floor. This updated assembly replaces the original tube and grommet to prevent future blockages and ensure proper gravitational drainage.
