Refrigerator Door Assembly (with integrated ice maker water line)
The internal retaining clips designed to secure the ice maker water line within the door have failed or become dislodged. This allows the water line to shift and come into direct contact or close proximity with the cold air inlet for the ice maker, causing the water inside the line to repeatedly freeze and obstruct flow. A permanent resolution requires replacing the entire door assembly, as the internal water line routing and clips are not independently serviceable.
