AMOLED Display and Lens Assembly
The failure is a result of localized cumulative exhaustion of the organic electroluminescent materials within the display panel. Once the sub-pixels have lost their calibrated luminous intensity due to heat and high current density, the resulting ghosting cannot be resolved via software or firmware. A full replacement of the display module, which is typically bonded to the glass lens, is the only permanent mechanical resolution.
