Over Pressure Valve (OPV) Assembly

The OPV regulates the 9-15 bar pressure required for espresso; internal scale buildup or spring fatigue prevents the valve from seating correctly. This leads to water bypassing the group head and returning to the reservoir prematurely or leaking at the threaded connection to the pump. Replacing the assembly restores the hydraulic seal required for high-pressure extraction.

Steam Valve Assembly

The Gaggia steam valve utilizes a metal-to-metal interface that is highly susceptible to pitting from mineral deposits.
