Rotary Burr Carrier (Auger)

The rotary burr carrier is the interface between the motor drive shaft and the moving burr. If the carrier casting is warped or the mating surface is not perfectly perpendicular to the bore, it induces a wobble (axial runout) during rotation. Replacing the carrier restores the mechanical datum and ensures the burrs can be calibrated to a tighter parallel tolerance.

Burr Tension Spring

This spring provides the return force for the floating burr carrier against the adjustment dial.
