OLED burn-in is a permanent chemical degradation of the organic light-emitting layers within the display panel. Because sim racing displays often feature static telemetry data, specific pixels age faster than their neighbors, resulting in a loss of peak brightness and a persistent 'ghost' image. The only resolution for this hardware-level degradation is the physical replacement of the internal 1.3-inch OLED module.
