This kit contains the Zigbee USB dongle that enables the IQ Gateway to communicate with the batteries. Hardware degradation of the USB-to-Zigbee transceiver or firmware corruption within the dongle's MCU prevents the battery from broadcasting its state of charge and telemetry. Replacing the kit restores the mesh network link.

Zigbee Wireless Range Extender

The 10T is often installed at a distance from the Gateway where the signal-to-noise ratio falls below the threshold for reliable data transmission. This extender bridges the physical gap between the mesh nodes, overcoming signal attenuation caused by stucco, brick, or metal siding that often shields the internal battery antennas.

IQ Gateway (Envoy-S Metered)

If the communications kit is functional but the battery remains offline, the internal USB bus or the power supply of the Gateway may have failed. This component acts as the brains of the system, and a failure in its internal 5V USB rail will prevent the Zigbee radio from powering on.
