The flashing red light indicates a critical fault detected by the onboard Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC), often signifying the internal Lithium-ion battery has dropped below a recoverable voltage threshold or has reached its cycle limit. It can also indicate a logic board failure caused by moisture ingress (milk) compromising the dielectric properties of the PCB traces. Because the Hub is a factory-sealed unit, the entire motor and control assembly must be replaced to resolve internal electrical failures.
