Replacement OLED Display Module
The Digitakt's OLED screen consists of organic compounds that emit light when energized; these compounds degrade at a rate proportional to brightness and duration of use. Static user interface elements cause uneven degradation across the pixel matrix, leading to permanent ghost images known as burn-in. Replacement of the entire display assembly is the only resolution, as the failure occurs at the molecular level within the emissive material.
