Water Inlet Valve Assembly

The E11 code specifically triggers when the control board fails to detect a change in the water level frequency within a designated timeframe. This is most commonly caused by a failed solenoid in the inlet valve assembly which prevents water from entering the drum. Replacing the entire assembly ensures all solenoid coils and internal filters are refreshed.

Water Level Pressure Sensor

If the water inlet valve is successfully allowing water into the unit, an E11 code may persist if the pressure sensor fails to communicate the rising water level to the control board. A malfunction in the sensor's diaphragm or electronic transducer will cause the board to 'think' the machine is still empty.

Stainless Steel Inlet Hoses

External to the machine, the inlet hoses or the small mesh screens within them can become obstructed by sediment or mineral deposits. This restriction reduces the GPM (gallons per minute) flow rate, causing the fill cycle to exceed the maximum allowable time, resulting in the E11 timeout.
