Power Control Board Assembly

The flashing orange light specifically indicates an over-current (overload) state. In the absence of physical obstructions like heavy grass or debris, this fault is typically triggered by failing MOSFETs or drifting current-sensing resistors on the PCB that incorrectly interpret standard motor startup current as a stall condition. Replacing the PCB restores the correct electrical logic and safety thresholds.

Brushless DC Motor

Internal degradation of the motor's copper windings or a partial short in the stator can increase the operational resistance of the motor. This forces the system to pull more current to achieve the necessary torque for blade rotation, eventually exceeding the amperage limit and triggering the orange overload flash code.

21-Inch High Lift Blade

Excessive vibration from a bent or severely unbalanced blade can create parasitic mechanical load on the motor spindle. This increased inertia and friction during the startup phase can lead to a transient over-current event that the controller identifies as a system overload.
