Resistance Knob Assembly
The primary failure mode is the loosening of the set screw or the internal retaining nut that secures the knob to the tension rod. Over time, rotational stress and vibrations from the flywheel cause these fasteners to back out, resulting in physical play or wobbling. This assembly provides the necessary hardware to re-establish a rigid mechanical connection between the user interface and the tensioning system.

Resistance Tension Rod
If the knob spins but provides no resistance change, the internal threads on the tension rod may have stripped or the rod may have disconnected from the magnetic brake carriage. This component replaces the vertical threaded member that converts rotational movement into linear displacement for the magnets.

Magnetic Brake Assembly
In cases where the knob is loose due to a lack of counter-tension from the brake unit, the spring-loaded carriage within the magnetic assembly may have failed. Replacing the full assembly ensures the return spring and pivot points are functioning to pull the tension rod taut against the knob.
