Dyson V10 Post-Motor HEPA Filter

The V10 uses a high-sensitivity pressure sensor that pulses the motor if the filter is restricted. Fine dust particles (like drywall or flour) can lodge deep in the pleats, making the filter appear clean while remaining air-tight. A fresh OEM filter restores the designed pressure differential required for maximum suction.

Dyson V10 Cyclone Assembly

Internal blockages in the small cyclonic cones often occur when the bin is overfilled, forcing debris into the non-serviceable upper airway. This results in a permanent loss of centrifugal separation and reduced suction that cannot be resolved by cleaning external filters.

Dyson V10 Bin Assembly (Clear Bin)

The V10 'point and shoot' bin design relies on a large rubber gasket at the base of the cyclone to maintain a vacuum seal. If this gasket is torn or if the bin door latch is compromised, air leaks into the system, bypassing the main floor tool and significantly reducing effective suction.
