The Li-ion cells in the V8 pack have a finite cycle life and develop high internal resistance over time. When the motor enters a high-torque state, the resulting voltage sag hits the Battery Management System (BMS) low-voltage cutoff, causing an abrupt shutdown to prevent cell inversion. Replacing the integrated pack and BMS assembly restores the current delivery capacity required for the digital motor.
