The flashing blue light indicates the battery is depleted or unable to sustain the voltage required to run the motor. As Lithium-ion cells age, they develop high internal resistance which causes the system to shut down and flash blue under load, even if the indicator suggests some charge remains. Replacing the integrated battery assembly restores the power delivery necessary for the high-draw V10 motor.

Although the V10 has a specific blockage indicator, a severely restricted filter can cause the motor to surge and pull excessive current, potentially triggering a battery protection fault (flashing blue) on older packs. Cleaning or replacing the HEPA filter ensures optimal airflow and reduces the strain on the battery's discharge rate.

If the battery flashes blue immediately after a supposed full charge, the charger may be failing to provide the correct float voltage, leaving the battery partially discharged. Verifying charger output ensures the battery is actually reaching its target 25.2V-29.4V range.
