Mop Pad Holder Plate

The mop pad holder contains a specific magnetic signature required for the robot to verify attachment before deploying the MopExtend arm. Ingress of moisture into the plate housing causes magnet corrosion or displacement, breaking the feedback loop and preventing the extension mechanism from engaging. Replacing the plate restores the magnetic coupling and the mechanical hex-interface needed for rotation and lateral swing.

MopExtend Linear Actuator Assembly

This internal component consists of a DC servo and a worm gear drive responsible for the physical displacement of the mop arm. If the arm was forced manually or hit an obstacle during a 'RoboSwing' operation, the internal plastic gear teeth can strip or the motor can stall. This results in the mop failing to extend to the edge or a grinding noise when the extension routine is triggered.

Mop Pad Disc Drive Module

The drive module provides the torque for the DuoScrub rotation and serves as the pivot point for the extension arm. Mechanical failure often occurs at the pivot bearing or the electrical pigtail that provides power during the extension movement. Fatigue on the internal wiring due to repeated swing cycles can lead to intermittent power loss to the mop motor when in the extended position.
