Sterilizer Base Heating and Fan Assembly
The heating plate is sealed to the plastic housing using industrial-grade silicone which can delaminate after extensive thermal cycling. Once the seal is compromised, water from the reservoir leaks directly into the lower chassis where the drying fan and PCB are located. Because the unit is often sonically welded or uses high-temp adhesives, the entire base assembly is the most granular serviceable component to ensure a watertight repair.
