Gimbal Vibration Damper Set

The Mini 4 Pro uses soft rubber dampers to isolate high-frequency vibrations. If these dampers become dislodged or lose elasticity, the gimbal assembly sags and makes physical contact with the aircraft chassis, creating mechanical friction that exceeds the motor's torque capacity, triggering the stall error.

Gimbal Flex Ribbon Cable

This multi-strand ribbon cable facilitates power and data to the three-axis motors. If the cable is fatigued, slightly torn, or misrouted during a minor impact, it can exert physical 'spring' tension against the gimbal's movement or cause intermittent signal loss to the Hall effect sensors, leading the controller to believe the axis is stuck.

Gimbal Axis Arm Assembly

If the error persists after cleaning and damper inspection, the internal bearings of one of the three brushless motors have likely suffered a flat-spot or ingress of ferrous particulate. Because the individual motors are press-fitted into the magnesium or plastic arms, the entire axis arm must be replaced to restore smooth rotation.
