Gimbal Flex Ribbon Cable
The flexible PCB (ribbon cable) is pre-formed to fit within the tight tolerances of the gimbal axes; over time, the material can lose its elasticity or the adhesive can fail, causing the cable to bow outward. This creates physical friction against the interior of the gimbal arm, preventing the motor from completing its initialization sweep. Replacing the cable restores the low-friction path required for the low-torque brushless motors to operate.

Gimbal Vibration Dampers
These silicone elastomers suspend the gimbal assembly to isolate it from high-frequency motor vibrations; if a damper becomes unseated or the polymer degrades, the gimbal assembly will sit lower than its design specification. This leads to physical contact (binding) between the camera housing and the drone's chassis during the startup calibration sequence, triggering the 'stuck' error.
