PTO Switch (Push-Pull)
The PTO switch is a high-cycle electromechanical component that serves as a gatekeeper for both the ignition 'crank' circuit and the deck clutch power. Internal contact pitting or oxidation creates high resistance, which prevents the safety interlock from completing the circuit to the starter solenoid or fails to provide sufficient amperage to the electromagnetic clutch. Replacing the switch resolves the continuity failure within the sealed housing.
