Joystick Pivot Ball and Slider Kit

The 'Point & Go' system relies on a high-tolerance pivot ball and slider mechanism to translate hand movement to the transmission linkages. Stiffness is caused by the accumulation of debris and the thermal degradation of grease within the pivot housing, leading to increased friction and mechanical binding. Replacing the pivot ball and accompanying sliders restores the intended kinetic fluid motion of the steering assembly.

Joystick Centering Spring Kit

If the joystick is stiff and fails to return to the neutral position, the centering springs have likely suffered from fatigue or have been compromised by oxidation. These springs provide the counter-force necessary to overcome internal friction; when weakened, the joystick feels sluggish or heavy. Replacing the springs ensures the mechanical return-to-center physics are correctly balanced against the friction of the linkages.

Control Cable Assembly

The mechanical input from the joystick is transmitted to the hydro-pumps via sheathed push-pull cables. If the internal liner of these cables becomes frayed or contaminated, it increases the force required to move the joystick, mimicking a stiff control box. Replacing the cable eliminates internal drag caused by sheath-to-core friction that cannot be serviced via external lubrication.
