Mechanical Shutter Unit Assembly
The focal-plane shutter curtains are driven by a high-speed spring and motor linkage that can suffer from fatigue or physical obstruction. If the blades are stuck closed, it indicates the motor has failed to provide the necessary torque to overcome the spring tension or a blade has detached from its arm, physically jamming the mechanism across the sensor.

DC/DC Power PCB
Insufficient current delivery to the shutter charge motor can prevent the curtains from cycling through a full phase. While less common than mechanical failure, a fault in the power management circuit can stall the solenoid responsible for releasing or cocking the shutter curtains.

Shutter Charge Motor
The dedicated electric motor responsible for re-tensioning the shutter springs. If the internal windings short or the drive gear shears, the shutter will remain in its last position (often closed) and fail to initialize upon power-up.
