Silicone Charge Tube Upgrade Kit

The factory plastic or rubber charge tubes are prone to expanding under thermal load and slipping off the intercooler or throttle body connections during high-boost events. This creates a massive boost leak, resulting in immediate power loss and a vacuum reading on boost gauges. High-quality silicone replacements with T-bolt clamps provide a higher coefficient of friction and better thermal stability to maintain a pneumatic seal.

Turbo Boost Control Solenoid

This electro-pneumatic valve regulates the vacuum/pressure signal to the wastegate actuator. If the internal diaphragm or coil fails, the wastegate may default to the open position, allowing exhaust gases to bypass the turbine wheel. Replacing the solenoid restores the ECM's ability to manage turbine speeds and target boost levels.

Wastegate Actuator

The mechanical spring inside the actuator can weaken or the internal diaphragm can rupture, preventing the wastegate from staying closed under load. This results in the inability to build or hold boost pressure despite the turbocharger spinning correctly. A new actuator ensures the wastegate flap remains seated until the designated boost pressure is achieved.
