Magnet Assembly Carriage
The magnetic resistance system relies on a precise air gap to generate eddy currents without physical contact; rubbing occurs when the magnet carriage becomes misaligned or loose. Over time, the mounting hardware for the magnet bracket can back out due to vibration, causing the assembly to tilt and strike the flywheel. Replacing the assembly ensures the magnets are properly seated within their housing and the pivot arm is structurally sound.
