Bose QuietComfort Ultra Charging Case

The charging case contains the physical reset button and the control circuitry required to pull the earbuds' data pins to a specific logic state to trigger a 'Factory Reset.' If the internal PCB or the pogo-pin interface is defective, the earbuds cannot clear their internal pairing tables, resulting in the rejection of new connection attempts.

Replacement Right Earbud

The right earbud typically serves as the primary Bluetooth Sink/Master for the pair. A 'Pairing Rejected' error often stems from a corrupted NVM (Non-Volatile Memory) sector on the Bluetooth SoC that prevents the cryptographic handshake from completing, necessitating a replacement of the logic-bearing unit.

USB-C Firmware Interface Cable

In some instances, the pairing rejection is caused by a 'Race Condition' in the firmware version. A high-quality data-sync cable is required to interface with the Bose Device Updater to re-flash the Bluetooth stack and clear the system-level handshake errors.
