The F01 code is a specialized communication error indicating the RFID reader cannot detect the chip embedded in the filter frame. Replacing the filter provides a new, calibrated RFID tag, which resolves errors caused by chip defects, physical misalignment during installation, or electromagnetic interference from a degraded tag.

RFID Reader Module

If a known-good filter fails to clear the F01 code, the internal RFID antenna or the transceiver module has likely suffered a hardware failure. This component is responsible for generating the magnetic field required to power and read the filter's passive tag; a failure here prevents any filter recognition.

Main Control PCB

The main logic board processes the data retrieved by the RFID module. A failure in the logic gates or the I2C communication line on the PCB can result in a persistent F01 error even if the sensor and filter are functional.
