Dirty Water Tank Assembly

This assembly contains both the integrated float stack and the base sealing gasket. Suction loss is most frequently caused by the float becoming stuck in the 'up' position (cutting off airflow) or the bottom seal failing to create an airtight connection with the motor intake. Replacing the entire tank ensures the vacuum path is sealed and the safety float is moving freely.

Flexible Suction Hose Assembly

The corrugated hose on portable units is a high-flex component prone to fatigue cracking or internal collapses. Even a small breach in the hose wall will cause a total loss of suction at the tool head due to the loss of vacuum integrity. Tank Base Gasket / Receiver

This is the interface seal where the dirty water tank meets the machine's motor housing. Over time, the rubber can take a 'set' or degrade from chemical exposure, preventing the tank from seating properly.
