The ELRS receiver is hard-integrated into the F4 1S AIO flight controller; if the SPI or Serial bus for the RX chip fails to initialize or cannot accept firmware flashes to resolve version mismatches, the entire board must be replaced. This component houses the MCU and the RF chip responsible for the binding handshake. Failure often occurs due to thermal stress on the surface-mounted RF ceramic antenna or the SX1280 transceiver chip.
