Clutch Rebuild Kit (including Rollers, Bushings, and Pins)

The sticking symptom is typically caused by the movable sheave binding on the stationary shaft due to worn bushings or flat-spotted rollers that fail to transition smoothly along the cam weights. This kit replaces the high-wear friction points that cause mechanical interference during the shift cycle. Restoring these tolerances allows the spring tension to successfully return the sheave to the idle position.

Drive Clutch Spring

Over time, the primary spring can suffer from 'sack' or fatigue, losing its calculated rate and failing to provide sufficient force to overcome the friction of a dirty or slightly worn clutch tower. Replacing a fatigued spring ensures there is enough stored energy to force the sheaves apart when engine RPM drops to idle.

Drive Clutch Weight Pins and Locknuts

Over-tightening or corrosion of the pivot pins can pinch the towers or cause the cam weights to hang, preventing the centrifugal mechanism from retracting. New pins with specific shoulder tolerances ensure that the weights pivot freely without lateral binding against the clutch spider.
