Internal Water Flow Meter
The flow meter utilizes a small magnetic impeller to track water volume; during descaling, loosened mineral deposits can jam the impeller. If the hall-effect sensor fails to detect rotation while the pump is active, the system halts operation to prevent dry-firing the steam boiler.

Water Pump Assembly
The pump is responsible for drawing the descaling solution from the reservoir into the boiler. Scale buildup can cause the pump's internal diaphragm or gears to seize, or create an air-lock condition that the system cannot self-prime, leading to a timeout error.
